01 — Our Story
Tucked into the winding lanes of Anafiotika — the island village built within Plaka by craftsmen from the Cyclades — our café-mezedopoleio has welcomed wanderers for decades. By day, the terrace sits dappled under vine and plane tree; by night, it glows with candles and strings of warm light.
We are family-run and proudly traditional. Expect honest Greek meze, ouzo poured slow, coffee that lingers, and a rooftop where the Acropolis stands close enough to touch. Sit a while. There is no hurry here.
“Καλώς ήρθατε — welcome, as if to our own home.”

02 — 10:00 → 02:00

Greek coffee and freddo in the quiet shade of the vine. A slow start, a sweet on the side, and the lane waking up around you.

Meze after meze on the terrace — tzatziki, grilled halloumi, fava — with a glass of something cold as the light turns gold over Plaka.

Ouzo poured slow, the rooftop lit by candle and string-light, and the Acropolis glowing above until the small hours.

“We watched the sun set over the Acropolis from the rooftop while sharing plate after plate of meze. Pure magic.”
